Our firm acted as legal counsel to the Voici La Mode Group in connection with the establishment of RetailCura, a strategic 50:50 partnership between VLM and Symeonides Fashion House bringing together their respective Marks & Spencer franchise operations.

The transaction created a unified M&S business across Cyprus and Romania, with RetailCura becoming M&S’s strategic franchise partner for both markets.

Prior to the transaction, Voici La Mode operated the M&S franchise in the Nicosia district as well as the M&S business in Romania, while Symeonides Fashion House operated the M&S franchise across the remaining districts of Cyprus. Their combination under RetailCura brings together decades of experience and investment in the M&S brand under a single platform.

The transaction represents an important milestone for the M&S brand in the region and forms part of its wider strategy to work with fewer, more strategic franchise partners, while providing a platform for continued investment, innovation and expansion.
