Our firm acted as legal counsel to Interamerican Group, a member of the international insurance group Achmea, in connection with the agreed acquisition of the motor and property insurance portfolio of Gan Direct Insurance in Cyprus.

The portfolio will be integrated into Anytime, Interamerican’s digital direct insurance brand, which already has an established presence in the Cyprus insurance market.

The transaction represents an important step in Interamerican’s continued expansion in Cyprus. According to Achmea, the acquisition will double Interamerican’s portfolio in Cyprus, further strengthening its position in the Cypriot insurance market and supporting the Group’s broader strategy of growth through direct and digital insurance channels.

The transaction is subject to the approval of the competent regulatory authorities and the completion of the applicable legal and regulatory procedures.
