Rafaela Philippou graduated with a Law degree (LLB) in 2013 from the University of Athens and, in 2016 acquired a master’s degree in Commercial & Maritime Law (LL.M) from the University of Hertfordshire.

She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2016 and joined our firm in September 2024. Prior to joining our firm, Rafaela had worked at various legal firms in Cyprus where she had the opportunity to work in many different fields of law such as construction law, banking law, property law, tort law and more. Rafaela’s practice further comprised of appearing before the District Courts of Cyprus, the Administrative Court, the Tenders Review Authority and Labour Court, reviewing and drafting legal documents and court pleadings and providing legal opinions to clients, as well as to various administrative bodies.

Since September 2024, when she joined our firm, she has been mostly involved in insurance law and personal injury.
